Mark Fichera
Mark Fichera currently uses skills learned over the past 40 years to provide investment ideas based primarily on technical analysis. He is particularly well versed in point and figure charting, trend line charts, Japanese candlestick complimented by various technical indicators and exponential moving averages. He also has created a series of proprietary indicators unique to his analytical style.
Born and raised in Middlesex County New Jersey, Mark “Big Fish” Fichera graduated Cum Laude from Rider College in 1966. With an accounting degree in hand, he went to work for Johnson and Johnson in their financial forecasting department. Including a 2 year interruption for military service, he remained at the well respected health care company until late 1981.
After 16 years with Johnson and Johnson and leaving as a financial manager at their Chicago facility, he began a new and exciting career as a Merrill Lynch financial consultant in Toms River, New Jersey. Prior to leaving the Chicago area, he earned a MBA in finance from Illinois Benedictine College, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1981. Mark spent the next 16 years at Merrill Lynch continuing to develop and broaden his technical skills.
After a brief attempt at retirement in, September, 1997, “Big Fish” returned to the financial services arena in late 1999. He loves to go fishing on anybody’s boat, but when not doing so, he thoroughly enjoys the challenges of the financial markets. Mark is currently an investment advisor representative with Regal Advisory Services.
