Q. How do I receive the FREE My Automated Advisor Newsletter?
A. Our Newsletter is furnished solely in electronic form on a monthly basis to the email address you designate. You should always promptly notify us of any changes to your e-mail address. To enroll, you must complete the Subscription for Newsletter online form.

Cost & Fees

Q. What is the cost to subscribe to Trade Alerts?
A. Each Trade Alert is subscribed on a monthly basis for $24.95 per month with no charge for the first month. Payment is made for one month in advance through automatic payment by credit card. Your credit card will automatically be charged on a monthly basis unless you notify us of cancellation.

Q. How do I pay for my subscription and what forms of payment are accepted?
A. You must authorize automatic payment by a credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express through our secure website. Checks are not accepted. Each Trade Alert is subscribed to on a monthly basis for $24.95 per month with no charge for the first month.

Q. When will my credit card be charged?
A. Charges apply each month after your initial one month trial ends. Your credit card will be charged one month following the date of the subscription for each Trade Alert. For example, if a subscription for a Trade Alert is made on the 3rd of the month, the billing date will be the 3rd of each month thereafter.

Q. Are there other charges in addition to the subscription fee?
A. My Automated Advisor charges no additional fees. However, you will pay execution fees charged by the firm that holds your brokerage account and you may possibly incur other miscellaneous fees.

Q. What if I want to discontinue my subscription to Trade Alerts?
A. A subscription to a particular Trade Alert can be cancelled at any time. If a subscription to a Trade Alert is terminated, there will be no refund for the remainder of the period of the subscription.

Q. Am I required to have an email address to subscribe to Trading Alerts and to receive these alerts?
A. Yes. A valid email address is required.

Q. How do I subscribe to Trade Alert Services?
A. If you will be placing your own trades and are subscribing to Trade Alert Services only (no auto trading), you must complete the following, all of which are completed online:

    This profile allows My Automated Advisor to approve you for the appropriate Trade Alert Services based on your financial profile and investment objectives.

    This brochure contains important information regarding My Automated Advisor trade alert services and other information about Regal Advisory Services, Inc. activities.
  3. The Subscription for Trade Alerts form. An email address is required to receive trade alerts.

Q. How do I receive my Trade Alerts?
A. Trade Alerts are furnished solely in electronic form by e-mail to the e-mail address you designate at your enrollment. It is your responsibility to notify My Automated Advisor of any changes to your e-mail address.

Q. How many Trade Alerts will be issued with my subscription?
A. With a few exceptions, most of our Alert Services issue a minimum of 25 alerts per year, but could be as high as 40. However, My Automated Advisor has no obligation to issue any particular number of Trade Alerts within any time period due to variations in market conditions.

Q. Which Trade Alerts can I qualify for?
A. You are authorized to subscribe only to Trade Alerts for which you meet suitability parameters.

Q. What is Suitability?
A. At enrollment, you must provide a client profile which describes your investment objectives and financial parameters. You should always inform My Automated Advisor of any changes in your circumstances that might affect the manner in which your assets should be invested.

A. Will my broker require specific forms in order to trade Automated Advisor alerts?
Q. If you intend to utilize margin or trade options, you should have on file with your broker an Option Application and a Margin Agreement. If you have questions or concerns about the use of options or margin, please call your broker. You will also need an initial deposit of $2,000 to trade on margin.

Q. Do you enter into short stock transactions?
A. Occasionally our alerts involve short stock transactions. In order to participate in these Trade Alerts you will be required to have an approved margin agreement with your broker. IRA accounts are prohibited from having margin and therefore cannot participate in sell short Trade Alerts.

Q. How do I cancel my subscription and who do I notify?
A. Your broker cannot cancel your subscription. You must contact Automated Adviser through the website. Once you cancel your current subscription you will no longer receive the trade alerts and you will have to exit any open positions yourself.

Q. Are trade alerts guaranteed?
A. No. There is never a guaranteed investment. You should never invest more than you can afford to loose.

Q. Are there special risks associated with options?
A. Options are only suitable for investors who understand the risks inherent in such securities. Auto Trade

Q. How do I enroll for combined Trade Alerts and Auto Trading?
A. If you are subscribing to trade alerts and enrolling in auto trading you must complete the following, all of which are completed online:

    This profile allows My Automated Advisor to approve you for the appropriate Trade Alert Services based on your financial profile and investment objectives.

    This brochure contains important information regarding My Automated Advisor trade alert services and other information about Regal Advisory Services, Inc. activities.
  3. The Investment Advisory Client Agreement and include your Investrade account number. (See below for instructions to open an Investrade account if currently do not have one)
  4. The Investrade Supplemental Agreement for Auto Trading with My Automated Advisor. This document authorizes Investrade to automatically place trades in your account when a trade alert is issued. (Auto Trading) If you already have an Investrade brokerage account, you will be required to provide your Investrade account number.

Q. What is Auto Trading?
A. You the Client authorize Investrade, our exclusive broker for Auto Trading, to purchase and sell securities without contacting you for prior approval. These trades are based on the My Automated Advisor Trade Alerts you have subscribed to and the available funds in your account. Auto Trading allows you to not miss a Trading Alert when it is issued, if you do not have the ability or the time to watch the market.

Q. How does Auto Trading work?
A. Each of our Trade Alerts contains a recommendation for the purchase or sale of securities. When a Trade Alert is issued, My Automated Advisor automatically notifies Investrade, our exclusive Auto Trading broker. Investrade then, according to your instructions for Auto Trading, places an order in your account based on the recommendation in the Trade Alert.

Q. What do I have to do to auto trade?
A. If you would like to Auto Trade, you will need to open a brokerage account with Investrade Securities if you do not already have one. Investrade will require an Option Application if your trade alerts involve options and a Margin Agreement if you intend to utilize margin.

Q. Is Investrade Securities your exclusive broker for Auto Trading?
A. Yes. Investrade is the exclusive Auto Trading broker for My Automated Advisor and you must open an Investrade account if you are going to Auto Trade. Go to the Applications & Forms section of www.investrade.com to download your account kit.

Q. Are there additional charges for auto trading?
A. There are no additional fees for auto trading.

Q. May I place trades my own trades in my account if I am enrolled in Auto Trading?
A. Clients may trade in their Investrade account. However, clients should be aware that any client trading in the Auto Trading account will not be monitored in any way by My Automated Advisor and client trading in the account will not be segregated from Auto Trading through Trade Alerts.

For example, if you purchases securities and a Trade Alert is issued that recommends the sale of the same securities you purchased on your own, the securities previously purchased by you would be sold.

Q. If I choose to Auto Trade with Investrade, how do I know how much to spend per trade?
A. When enrolling for Auto Trading with Investrade, you must choose the maximum amount per trade that corresponds to your Trade Alert Service. You may choose one of the four:

  1. Dollar ($) Amount
  2. Number of Contracts
  3. Percentage (%) of Account Value
  4. Amount Specified by Your Trade Alert

Orders using a percentage basis will be calculated based on total Account value up to the cash available in the Account.

If you choose to use margin, orders using a percentage basis will be calculated based on available buying power.

Remember that Investrade will not execute any transactions, regardless of the instructions from My Automated Advisor in your account if there are not sufficient funds or available margin buying power, if applicable.

Q. If I Auto Trade, does Investrade have full discretionary authority to trade in my account?
A. No. Investrade only has the authority to place trades on your behalf according to your instructions when signing up for auto trading.

Q. Can I auto trade more than one subscription alert in my Investrade account?
A. Yes. You must indicate which programs you subscribe to, the maximum amount per trade for each program, as well as the date each subscription expires.

Q. What do I do if I want to discontinue auto trading?
A. You are the only person that can start, stop or change your auto trading status. The change will not take effect until you notify Investrade.
